Manus Province is located in the Papua New Guinea province; it is the smallest town in this province. The city has a very small land area roughly about 2100 sq km, however it has a water area that is about 220,000 sq Km. Lorengau is known as the capital province of the city. The total population is about 43, 400.  The province consists of the Admiralty Islands (a cluster of about 18 islands that are located in the Bismarck Archipelago). These islands along with Wuvulu Islands and the atolls are all together located to the west of the city.

The largest islands from this cluster include the Manus Island; this is where Lorengau is also located. The main economic industries of the Manus Province are Pearl Fishing and Coconut Cultivation. The island also has a reputation of having very beautiful and colourful marine life. The coral reefs are also worth mentioning.
