How Should I Take Care Of A Newborn Kitten?
Answers
You should relate mutually with the newborn kitten research shows interacting with kittens in their early weeks can improve their learning capabilities. You should be very careful while holding a kitten, wrong handling can be hazardous to the little kitten. Always support the kittens head and neck to avoid any injury. Kittens love to play it helps them to learn about their surroundings and environment.
During playtime interact with the kitten and introduce it to other people this will reduce his fear of strangers. Introduce it to children also. A kitten not socialized with children may discard them after it has become an adult cat. Visit the vet often as young kittens have higher tendency to catch infections and diseases make sure he is vaccinated because it prevents him from various diseases.
Take good care of the kitten's nutritional needs, as he requires high energy in his early weeks. Groom your kitten every week it will help you in grooming when he becomes a matured cat. You can also check your kitten during examination three things should be inspected well:1 eyes should be bright and clean 2 ears should not be dirty 3 teeth should be neat and clean.

Go to a pet store and get bottles for feeding and then ask for the formula to bottle feed. Follow directions and feed as it says. At about two weeks old I feed formula mixed with baby cereal in a bottle. He is now over a year old and very gentle because of being handled so much.

May I give them canned milk? I am on disability and can't afford the replacement milk until they get old enough to eat regular kitten food.
Thanks,

No i think canned milk isn't digestible to kittens. Call your local vet for help.

If you mean newborn by its a few days old you need to get kitten formula from store/vet. Also a newborn will NOT use the bathroom on it's own and could die if you do not take a warm wet cloth and wipe it's bottom to stimulate its going potty. Feed it every few hours like every 3 to 4 wiping its bottom till it poo's and pees. DONT just swipe its bottom cause it takes a min or to for it go go potty, i raised several newborns from cats to wild animals and make sure you feed it slow.
