Colnbrook is one of ten removal centres across the UK and the most recent to be added to the network. It is in a prime location closest to the Heathrow Airport. The building was officially inaugurated by Des Browne, who was then Immigration Minister, in September 2004.

The closest train stations are Uxbridge, West Drayton and Hatton Cross. For buses you have to take these routes: Hounslow West to Longford Village Bus 81, West Drayton, Uxbridge to Hatch Lane Bus U3.

For more information, you will have to contact the director Craig Thomson. The contact numbers are 0208 607 5200(telephone) and 0208 759 7996 (fax). The visiting times are: 14.00 - 21.00. For more information, along with the map of destination, please visit: www.ind.homeoffice.gov.uk
