I entered into the US when I was 11 yrs old and now I need a permit to work in the US. How many more years do I need to get a permit and a ss#?

Well, the time frame for getting a work visa differs from case to case. The authorities might deport you immediately, if they think right. However, you would have to apply for registration first and come up as an illegal to get any further working done on your case, which includes deciding on the time to get a work permit.
