Plants make cellulose and other complex carbohydrates by combining H2O, CO2 and soil nutrients and the study of the reverse of this process could solve world energy problems. We are close to knowing what enzymes work to break down cellulose into ethanol for one as we can already do with corn. Solve this one and retire to Boro Boro!
