How Can We Help Save Water?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

I water outside much less in the rainy season, of course, but a great trick I've learned to water my house plants is to put a bucket under the faucet while I'm waiting for the water to heat up for a shower.  Then I let it sit for a couple of days (obviously I have two buckets "going" at all times), before watering my plants.  I also plant as much drought tolerant greenery outside as i can.  I garden with succulents, which have the most amazing blooms.  Each one is different and looks like a different kind of alien life form to me, but amazingly beautiful.
