Dad Has Green Eyes Mum Has Brown Eyes, Could There Be A Possibility The Child Could Have Blue Eyes?

Answer Question

It's not likely because brown and green eyes are co-dominant genes, but it all depends on grandparents, and what their eye colors are, and so on, it is likely that the child could have hazel eyes.

There is a possibility that the child could have blue eyes but only if both the parents are  both carriers of the blue alleles ,as blue eyes are a recessive trait.   The exception to this "rule" is if a mutation takes place.  Aileeny
