How Do I Get To Constanta And Where Can I Find Accommodation?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

It is easiest to travel to Constanta from Bucharest by train. Romanian domestic train tickets are not very expensive, and you should normally pay no more than about €15 to €20 for your trip. The total travel time from Bucharest is approximately 3.5 hours.

If you are willing to pay higher rates, Constanta has a small handful of quality, hotels, such as the four-star Hotel Royal. Single rooms start from $90/night. The only drawback is the fact that the hotel is located quite far from the Black Sea coast.

The Ibis Constanta is another good option. Rooms here a reasonably priced, at around $74 per night and the hotel is located only 200m from the beach. The four-star Europa Hotel is a close walking distance from the beach and as a plus, the hotel was renovated in 2003. Single rooms start at around $89/night.

While there are some budget hotels in Constanta, visitors should always be careful to ask ahead of time if rooms have air-conditioning. This is very important during the summer months when the temperatures soar and often remain high during the evening.
