    The largest and longest bridge in the whole of the state of West Virginia, United States of America is the New River Gorge Bridge. The bridge is located in the town of Fayetteville. The total length of the bridge is approximately 3,030 feet and it the bridge is the shape of an arch. The bridge is approximately 850 feet above the ground below it. When this bridge was first opened in the year of 1977, it was considered to be the world's longest and the largest bridge. There are many various other types of bridges located in the state of West Virginia because the whole of the state is a mountain region and many various bridges are required in order to pass through.

    The other famous bridge of West Virginia is The Veterans Memorial Bridge.
