Installing a webcam is very easy. You need to plug the webcam into the USB port of your computer first and start your computer. You will have to insert the CD that you got along with the webcam into the disk drive of your computer and follow the instructions. The driver will get installed on your computer and your webcam will start working.

On that particular CD, there will also be webcam software so that you can do various things with it. You can also check whether the webcam is working or not.

With the help of a webcam you can take pictures and also record video. Some webcams also come equipped with a microphone so that you can do video conferencing.
