Not usually, unless your cat gorged on his food and ate too much. Then he may vomit the food back up. If his belly is swollen then you may want to look at other possibilities and take him to your veterinarian for help.

Not likely, if your cat is experiencing something like this for no real reason, then you really need to get the kitty to the vet to make sure that something very serious isn't going on. Hope this helps, good luck to you and the kitty.
