Depends who you ask! Both are top-quality brands with a loyal and vocal following. I own Nikon gear so that is my preference, but Canon are truly of equal quality.

Im a Nikon user as well and i have been using it ever since. From the old Nikon F50 film to digital slr's such as D40, D40x D60 D100 and now I own a D90. All of em are Nikon Cameras. What bothers me is that., Almost all professionals use Canon Cameras... And all of them has the white 70-300mm f/2.8 lenses which is reallly good even for a low end camera.... And im kinda tempted to buy a canon just for those lenses.... Im just bothered.

But yeah., i guess they are really similar. Its just the lens that matters., nikon lenses are really expensive. Thats why., i think im going to settle in using Sigma lenses. Im not really a pro photographer but sometimes i use it everytime i shoot products for internet marketing services.

Thanks for the quotes. Appreciate it.
