I want to buy a wireless laptop. What should I look for in a wireless running Vista. I do not have any expertise. Can I use it anywhere. If I use it at home,do I need a router.

If your laptop comes with wireless technology, which it most probably would, then, u can connect to internet anywhere where they offer wireless internet like trains, hospitals , some cafes etc. However when u use ur laptop at home, u need to have subscribed to broadband services and yes you would need a router as well. You will just have to follow the instructions given by your broadband service provider and configure a few settings on your laptop and your wireless broadband on your laptop would be ready to use.
