If I Normally Take Meds For Blood Pressure And Hypertension And Stop, Will My Ankle Swell?

I couldn't afford my meds, thought it would be o.k. Is it heart related or blood pressure?

    Your body is retaining water because, blood pressure pills have an ingredient in to to make sure you don;t retain water. Your kidneys, from your blood pressure are not working properly. Never stop taking your blood pressure medicine. You will see instant reactions in your body.

      Yes this is true, both my Mother and my Grandmother experienced swelling in the ankles when they forgot to take bp meds.

        If you are diagnosed patient of hypertension the discontinuation of medicine is dangerous for you. Any time your blood pressure can shoot out and this can lead to heart attack and also damage to your circulatory vessels. Your swollen ankle has no relation with the discontinuation of medicine.
