Flouride toothpaste does prevent cavities, but is also a carcinogen (will cause cancer) and must be used in well calculated amounts.

There is a lot of evidence to suggest the benefits of fluoride are minimal compared to the negative effects.
Some will say the body can handle a certain level of fluoride toxicity, while someone like i would say "IT IS STILL INDUSTRIAL WASTE YOU SCUM BAG, STOP LYING TO US, POISONING OUR CHILDREN AND PRETENDING TO BE HELPING US. DIE!"
I am a touch biased, so please judge for yourself. Fluoridealert.com is a good one.
Did ya know the Nazi's used it to pacify prisoners and make them futile in resisting their captors? Its not like our current societies are full of mindless idiots, is it?
      Hmmm...
I say learn about it, and your pineal gland for that matter.
And if your doc. Says its cool, be wary. Your illness is his pay check...
