It was launched for the purpose of playing the game on the Sega Genesis video game console.
The objective of the game which is entitled 'Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?' is a track down of the nemesis of the protagonist in the game (Carmen Sandiego) around the world and arresting them, before arresting Carmen herself.
