Erith is located to the south east of London on the banks of the river Thames and has excellent mass transit system links. It falls under the London district of Bexley and is in the Bexley and Bromley constituency of London Assembly. The municiplaity hub has been transfiormed offlate and the recently restored Erith Riverside Shopping Centre was opened to public on 24 March 2005. The commencement of the shopping mall by Deutsche Bank and the Bexley Council also coincides with the rejuvenation of the town in the recent years.
The landmark shopping centre is located in front of Morrison's fashionable supermarkmet and car park. The new centre provides a safe and warm atmosphere and can accommodate more than 800 cars in the parking areas. The centre boasts of big names such as Matalan, Wilkinsons and Peacocks.
