Do Ballet Classes Normally Allow People With No Experience Of Dance To Begin?

I'm interested in learning ballet for fun but I'm not sure they'll let someone with no previous experience of dance begin. (I've just turned 16)

Yes of course you can. Even with no previous experience, you can learn how to ballet dance. There are a number of classes online as well. Or you can visit your near dance class. This link might help you out in getting started:

Ballet classes are graded and you will be put in a beginners class.  You will learn basic moves and feel more comfortable because everyone in the class is starting out just like you.  I'm guessing that you're not in 1st grade so you may want to look for a class with students of the same general age group but even adult schools have beginners ballet - it's very good exercise!  Enjoy!
