My 12 Year Old Daschund Has Been Yelping When He Wakes Up From A Nap. Could He Have A Spine Problem?
My dog has had two spine surgeries in his lifetime. He has been hanging his head, walking slowly, and acting uninterested. We just moved to a new home with family and they also have a dog. The other dog has attacked my dog lately and I'm afraid that my dog could of been hurt during this fight. The dog does not have a visible wound but is it possible that he has an internal problem?

Dachshunds are so prone to the back injuries I would think that would be the likely cause, especially if he has already had two back surgeries before. It is also possible that he is still trying to adjust to his new home. If his mood does not improve shortly a trip to the vet might be necessary to determine if he has reinjured his back.
