Eynsford in its northwestern part of Kent harbors this Lullingstone Roman Villa. Eynsford is a civil parish and is sited in the Sevenoaks District. River Darent flows near Eynsford and Dartford lies to its north. The county of Kent is to the southeast of London. East Sussex, Surrey, Greater London and Essex surround this county. The Thames Estuary flows along area where Kent shares its borders with Essex.

Lullingstone Roman Villa was constructed in 80 AD. It was not renovated till fourth century. Later, a bath block along with a dining room were set up in this villa. This new room had mosaic floorings that portrayed a bull (actually Zeus) kidnapping Europa and another picture showed Chimera being killed by Bellerophon. Then, in 300 AD a temple-mausoleum of Roman-Celtic origin was built. It was built to take in the coffins of two young persons; one of which was stolen. The Villa was found in the excavations of 1960-1970 and is under preservation.
