Using very cold icy water and brush first, then let a dry big towel absorb the bloody water, after the stain is gone add some dettol or any other product to insure a sanitized place, u dont want bacteria on that carpet, and i think it would be better if you put on gloves while cleaning

In a spray bottle, mix a small amount of laundry detergent in with fresh hydrogen peroxide, and gently shake it to mix it.  Spray on the stain; it will start bubbling up. Scrub and blot with a rag or paper towel until it comes up completely.
