Once A Puppy Is On Meds For Parvo, When Is It Safe To Believe He Is 'out Of The Woods' And Will Most Likely Survive?
My puppy was diagnosed with parvo yesterday. He vomited only twice and didn't have diarrhea yet. We caught it quick because he had an appt to get his vaccinations and was tested before he got the shots. We got meds for him and have been giving him pedialyte and water . He still naps a lot but has a pretty good appetite still and when he is awake, he is still pretty playful. Any info will be appreciated. I read somewhere that most dogs that don't survive, will pass away within 48-72 hours. Is this true?

First 2-3 days after parvo attack are crucial. If your dog survive this period then it will take more 8-10 days to become fit but chances of survival are high after this first 2-3 days. Meanwhile, yoshould continue medicines and keep good hygienic conditions.
