What Is Organic Pet Food?

Just like us, our pets have the option of eating either ordinary or organic food (or at least they eat what we give them!). Organic pet food is the same almost as organic human food. They are free from pesticides, antibiotics, preservatives and hormones. This makes them healthier for the animal and many people are realising that organic food might be the way to go.

However, many experts say that organic pet food is no different to ordinary pet food regarding the health benefits. It hasn't been proven that organic food makes the pet healthier, it is just assumed. Still, it can't hurt and just the thought of giving our pet's organic food can make us feel better. It can be expensive though so make sure you have enough money to keep providing your animal with the food otherwise you could end up with a very grumpy pet once they have tasted it!
