What Albums Did The Velvet Underground Bring Out?

    The Velvet Underground had a very brief career, just spanning eight years, from 1965 to 1973, during which they released five studio albums. Despite this and the fact that they were never very commercialy successful, they have left a lasting impact on modern rock music, shaping the modern musical consciousness. Apart from the studio albums, they also had five live albums.
    The Velvet Underground and Nico was released in 1967, White Light/White Heat was released in 1968, The Velvet Underground was released the following year, Loaded was released in 1970, and Squeeze in 1973.

    The live albums were Live at Max's Kansas City, released 1972, 1969: The Velvet Underground Live, released 1974, Live MCMXCIII, released 1993, Final V.U. 1971-1973, released 2001, and Bootleg Series Volume 1: The Quine Tapes, released in 2001.
