Who Knows The Truth About Columbus?

Columbus was a great man in his accomplishments as an explorer and a sailor.  He changed the course of history.  As a human being, he was a tyrant.  He was cruel, and he was a murderer.  I'm not at all defending the man and what he did, but the Pilgrims were no saints either.  They massacred Indians by the thousands.  They even beheaded a tribal chief and displayed his head on a pole for years.  They did such things in the name of G-d, but their initial accomplishment of making it to America was an achievement.  If we stop and look at history, there were men we revere as explorers who did much the same things that Columbus and the Pilgrims did.
