Dig a huge pit, place a big pile of wood & charcoal in it. When it burns down to coals, slightly cover just the top layer of coals with what you dug from the pit. Place your lamb in the pit, wrapped in heavy duty foil & cover with the the remaining soil from the pit. It should be ready in about 8 to 10 hours.
