My Son Is 9yrs.old And He Weighs 116 Pounds, Is He Overweight?
My son is 9yrs. Old and weighs 116 pounds is he overweight or is their something wrong. He has trouble sleeping and goes to bathroom a lot. He bruises easily too. I am just wondering cause on my side of the family. Some of my family members have diabetes and I kinda worried for my son. He likes to eat a lot of food too. What should I do ? I already took him to the doctor's and U have to take to get blood tests done? And I am really scared for him. Please answer my question soon? Thank you Adrianna

You did the right thing, when you are a parent , you have to be a responsible one, and it sound like you our doing everything you should be doing. Of course you are scared, you are going through a very tough time right now, but just keep on top of things and all be okay. I will be thinking of you and you're son. Keep up a positive outlook.

Well, your son might be a little bit overweight but it doesn't matter because height is the important thing. I have a daughter who is about 5"1 and she is in 5th grade and she weighs about 100 lbs and she has friends who are lighter but smaller because they are short. Again, its depending on the height.
