My Puppy Has A Lump, What Could It Be?
I am new to blurtit and i am very concerned about my puppy. My dog has a lump around the size of a golf ball on her neck i have only just noticed it in the last couple of days and i was just giving her a good rub under her ears and neck a week ago and didnt notice anything but now it is visible and sticks right out it is under her skin and fur she is about 8 months old and is a Labrador can you please help me thank you

Could actually be a Tick that has gone underneath the skin, or it could be a cyst or tumor. You really should get it checked out... If you don't have the money to send the dog to the vet than you could shave some of the hair around it and take a look for yourself and see if theirs anything that needs to be...squeezed out? ...Hope that helps : \

thanks very much i shaved the fur and it had a small wound that had got infected and was full of poison it has now been squeezed out and is healing up nicely i think by the locks of it my other dog has been fighting with it and that's where the wound was from.
