Who Are The Members Of Depeche Mode?

Depeche Mode, the world famous Synth pop band that revolutionized electronic music was formed in 1980; the members of the group are David Gahan who is the lead vocalist, Martin Gore who is the lead keyboardist and guitarist, vocalist and chief songwriter and Andrew Fletcher who is the manager and spokesperson of the group as well as occasional keyboardist.

The founding members of the band also included Vince Clarke who was the keyboardist and chief songwriter before leaving the group in 1981 and later teaming up with singer Andy Bell to form the immensely successful band Erasure in 1985.

For a period from 1982 to 1995 Alan Wilder was the group's lead keyboardist, and occasional drummer and vocalist; Wilder was credited of being the force behind the music which carried the band to great heights of popularity in the late eighties and early nineties. The most recent release of the group was the album 'Playing the Angel' released in October 2005 and which featured in the top 10 in popularity charts in several countries
