Input/ Output systems are used in the computers. There are many components of the computer which serves as the input for the computer system and output for the computer system. There are different inputs of the computer system like mouse, keyboard, storage devices, CD Rom and light pen so these serve as the input in the computer system. The data is being input in the computer for the different types of the devices in order to give the opportunity to the system so that you can process it through the processor. So the computer is useless without the input devices. Like the input there are some output devices which are used with the computers in order to produce the output. The input devices include monitors, LCD, printers and other output devices.

So these are called the input and output system of the computer and is used with the computer system. There are many other digital devices which are being coming to the market in order to sale to the customers. So this is called the I/O system of the computer.
