Puppies are usually weaned from their moms at 6-8 weeks old however by 5 weeks they are eating soft food, gruel and starting to transition to hard food.

It is most important to feed a high quality puppy diet-I like Science Diet, Iams, Purina, or Eukanuba but these are just a few of the high quality diets out there.  Ask your veterinarian regarding specific questions about the diet you are feeding.

Puppies need to be fed small amounts 3-4 times a day for the first 2-3 months of life.  They have a small stomach capacity yet need nutrients regularly.

I would feed what is on the label for a puppy of her size and monitor her from there.  Pomeranians are very small dogs so a meal for her may only be 5-10 kibbles.

Weigh her weekly to make sure she is gaining weight and in a good body condition.  You should be able to feel the ribs but not see them, you should be able to feel her spine and hip bones but they should not stick out, she should have an hour glass waist on top, and may have a tummy tuck from the side.

She should see her veterinarian for first round of puppy shots and deworming as she is now weaned.  Your veterinarian can further answer questions and discuss general health of your new dog!
