What Are The Best Shopping Streets In Glasgow?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Glasgow is a fantastic city for shopping! It is rated as the second best shopping city in the UK - London being the first.

Wether you are shopping extravagently or on a strict budget, you will find you have plenty of choice! There are a mix of designer, high street and boutique shops littered over the city.

The main shopping streets in the city centre are Argyle Street, Buchanan Street and Suchiehall Street. Argyle street and Sauchiehall Street both have access onto Buchanan Street. There are two main shopping centres off these streets; St. Enochs Centre and Buchanan Galleries.

On these three streets you will find mostly high street stores with the occasional privately owned store.

There are vintage clothes shops and 'gothic' clothing stores in Kings Court, just off Kings Street.
If you are looking for designer wear then you are best to visit the Merchant City - a very pleasant area of town with buzzer door entry.

There are planty of restaurants, cafes and bars to rest your feet in too!
