Does The Jamaica Education System Works?

Most education systems are failing these days. Now you have to pay for a tutor to learn phonics. Heck when I was a kid, that was automatic learning tool.  I thought my son how to read when he was 10 months old by holding up cards that had letters shaped into the animal it spelled. Like s was for snake and the s was in the shape of a snake. He was reading by 2 and never made a spelling mistake.  Mind you, I made it into fun time. When giving him his bath, had fridge magnets that were numbers and symbols in math. Tought him how to add when giving him his bath. He loved it. And we agreed to never talk baby talk to our kids, as this meant they would have to learn a whole new language
