    The Dial up is normally 56 Kbps which works all over the world. It can be by phone line or wireless too.  The wireless dialup usually provides in those areas there phone connection can not be reach easily. The poor villages and the mountain areas are the big example of these wireless dial up areas. The speed of the wireless Dial up connection is similar to the normal dial up modem. There is no difference between the both of the connection. Only the main difference is that the wireless dialup work with out the wires and any other hesitations.  But the modem connection is common every where. Wireless always uses in those areas their telephone connection is not possible or the conditions of the exchange are not very good. The wireless connection could be provided by the satellite and also with the local booths just like mobile companies booths.

    For using the wireless dial up connection user must have the wireless modem in any form, it can be PCI or it can be PCMCIA according to the need of the user. He just added the modem to their device and it will as about the login name and password and dialup number, after authorizing all the things it will indicates you that your connection is established.
