How Much Beer Should I Buy For Friends That Are Helping Me Move?

What an interesting question.  I suppose it makes a big difference how much they are helping you.  Friendship doesn't or shouldn't require gifts, the offer of help should not require something other than the continuation and solidification of that bond of friendship.

However, if you are going to buy them something, first make sure they like what you are giving them.  It would be rather poor if you bought them something that they didn't want or like, this perhaps would make the gift for helping seem like an insult.

So, if you must buy them beer, how much beer should you buy them?  Well, if it's a little help, then perhaps, a four pack each is enough, if they are helping quite a lot, buy them a slab of cans each, if they are helping a lot, why not buy them a large box each and maybe even some food whilst you're moving.

The question really is, how much money are they saving you? Now how much of the money you've saved do you want to spend on them to say thanks?
