What Causes Ring Worm?

    In all animals including dogs, cats and humans, ringworm is a yeast infection. Nails, head and body are most affected areas of the body due to this infection. Ringworm is contagious because it can be spread from affected person to normal person, infected animal to normal person and from contact with contaminated objects. Symptoms of ringworm are

       1. Itching
       2. Circular patches of hair loss
       3. Skin inflammation

    Treatment is done by use of anti fungus medicines that can be both topical or oral.
