Where Is Energy Found In The Electromagnetic Spectrum?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Basically an electromagnetic spectrum is the spectrum which shows the distribution of the energy across the various radiations. There are seven regions in the electromagnetic spectrum which have different energy magnitudes and these regions include Radio, Microwave, Infrared, Visible, Ultra violet, X-rays and Gamma rays. The energy of radio waves is < 10-5 eV, microwave is 10-5 - 0.01 eV, infrared is 0.01 - 2 eV, visible rays is 2 - 3 eV, Ultraviolet waves is 3 - 103 eV, X-rays is 103 - 105 eV and energy in Gamma rays is >  105 eV. The greater the frequency, the greater is the energy of electromagnetic radiations.
