The original cast of Home and Away included Kate Ritchie as Sally Fletcher and Ray Meagher as Alf Stewart. Kate was born on 14 August, 1978 in Goulburn, New South Wales. Meagher was raised on a cattle and sheep station in Queensland before attending school from the age of nine. He first made an appearance on television as a host of a musical show Around Folk. He has also made appearances in films like Newsfront, My Brilliant Career, The Chant Of Jimmie Blacksmith and Breaker Morant.
