What To Do For Memorial Day Weekend?

Memorial Day arrives on the last Monday of the month of May. It is a type of a long weekend as three continuous days are off in a row such as Saturday, Sunday and Monday. People usually go out of town and have a small vacation. They usually go to visit their relatives and friends who live away from the city. People also take part in many sporting events held during the weekend such as football, baseball and soccer. This day also marks the unofficial beginning of the season of summer. There is a lot of sunshine and everything is dry from this day onwards till the winter season begins. This day is observed to remember those who have sacrificed their lives for the United States of America by serving in the military.
