How Does Cancer Spread?

    Cancer is the name of any one of the diseases that are caused due to development of abnormal cells that divide uncontrollably and is capable of infiltrating and destroying normal blood body tissue. Cancer is a disease that can spread throughout the body from the bloodstream and lymphatic system to other parts of the body. Anybody can be afflicted by cancer. They develop into malignant tumours and can be fatal if not diagnosed and treated properly.

    Cancer is caused due to damages or mutation in the DNA. Cancer is caused when cells continue growing due to a mutation disorder and these cells become cancerous and starts spreading to the other parts of the body. The cancerous cells live beyond the normal cell life span and cause them to accumulate by travelling to other parts of the body where they begin to grow and replace normal tissue. This process is known as metastasis.
