My Boston Terrier Should Be Having Puppies And Time Now. Any Advice?

I breed min schnauzers if you know the date she got pregnant a dogs pregnancy last for 63 days so you could count it up and be one or two days off,when the time is right I know my dogs try to go off and hide,make her a whelping box,panting is another sign tearing up their bedding and just being uncomfortable keep a watchful eye and Good Luck.

My Boston Terrier had 7 female puppies, but the labor went on too long and she had to have a c-section (as many Bostons do because of the large heads).  It was her first litter, and because she never delivered one on her own, she really had no idea what was going on.  They put her under, delivered the puppies, but she wanted nothing to do with them and acted like they weren't hers...The vet said it would have been different had she delivered at least one of them.  When I brought her home, she was downright ANGRY and would NOT even look at the puppies.  I had to make her nurse them for days and weeks.  Weeks later, She had no anxiety about the puppies  being whelped and going to their new homes--she never bonded with them...The female Boston I had before her was an incredible mother and was able to deliver them on her own...Regardless, there is NOTHING cuter than newborn Boston Terrier pups...and they only get cuter with each passing day...It will be hard to let them go...Good Luck with your expectant puppies..
