How Long Does A Criminal Record Last, It Was First And Last Time I Ever Got Into Trouble?

Answer Question

It depends on your age. If you are a minor, then it should be off your record when you turn 18, but that depends on the crime, too. Some follow you forever. If you are an adult, then your criminal record will follow you forever. In some places though, courts will sometimes says things like...if you complete a certain number of hours of alcohol evaluation classes (anger management, whatever) then they will drop the charges, then your record will be clear,  but that depends on the crime. Good luck to you.

It lasts forever unless you were a juvenile then sealed by statute or were acquitted of the crime, no matter if sentence served
