Is Spotting Normal During Pregnancy?

I have noticed that not ALL the time but EVERY once in a while, I see what looks like a spot of dried blood in my panties. I haven't been having in weird cramping or anything but I am a little concerned about the spotting. How long would it last and would it eventually stop? I'm 9 1/2 wks pregnant.

Now i am no doc and i cant say as i have ever had a baby but i have been around a few mummy's intimately. Now mind you my word is not gold. The best advise I can give is to contact one of those nurse lines by phone an talk to a nurse live.I have witnessed spotting and the mother usually will freak and go see doc.A very little can be normal but for a period of time is not good.my thought is after the third day I would get the doc to anserw.I would suggest taking it easy(relaxing physically as well as emotionally)it could be due to stress of both kinds. But again please follow up with the nurse line, if nothing else call any nurse station during the day at any prenatal doctors office. If you do not have a doc of your own

It is often normal ie spotting can be caused by change in hormone levels, especially if there is no cramping, BUT check it out with your doc anyway, just in case you've got a mild bacterial infection. You wouldn't want it to get worse.
