Judas was one of Jesus 12 disciples. The one who turned Jesus in to the romans who crucified him. Jesus knew before hand that it would happen because it was all part of God's plan.

Arguably the greatest of Jesus' disciples.

He was the bagman for the Apostles. BTW, he didn't betray Jesus to the Romans, it was to the Jewish ruling Council, the Sanhedrin. They condemned Jesus and turned him over to the Romans for punishment, as the Romans would not allow their subject nations to execute prisoners, but held that power to themselves. IOW, the Romans did the Jews' dirty work for them.
