    Yes, you can feed wax worms, but only as a treat, because they are too fatty and don't have enough nutritious content to sustain a turtle. Make sure to add vegetables and fresh greens, as well as cooked meats such as chicken and beef.

      Your box turtle can eat wax worms.  Because wax worms have a much higher fat content you will still want to feed him earthworms as well.  Meal worms are a little harder for a turtle to digest.  You can also feed your turtle crickets dipped in a calcium powder.  These are readily available at your local pet store.
