My Dog Got Sick After Eating Cat Food, What Should I Do?

Could it be the cat food? She is having runny stools and has been vomiting but now has stopped. Now her eyes are runny and she is drooling. She doesnt have any fever and everything in her mouth is pink. Her nose is cool to the touch.

Dietary indiscretion is a common cause of gastrointestinal upset in dogs.  It can cause both diarrhea and vomiting and should be mild and self-limiting-resolving over 1-2 days.  If your dog has excessive vomiting and diarrhea, won't eat or drink it needs to see a veterinarian.
Home remedies for gastrointestinal upset include feeding a bland diet--boiled chicken or hamburger, boiled rice, and cottage cheese.  Small amounts of plain yogurt can help too--it contains Lactobacillus-a good probiotic for the GI tract.  Canned pumpkin (non-spiced) can be added in small amounts-it contains a lot of fiber to firm up stool; it is also easily digestible and easy on the stomach.
Pepcid can be given at a dose of 0.5 milligram per kilogram of body weight--this will help reduce nausea and control vomiting.
If signs do not resolve in 24-48 hours seek veterinary attention.

Cool nose is good. If is just the runs I would say yeah, it was the cat food. Their digestive systems are different so they will have that kinda problem. The vomiting I'm not sure. But if it stopped I wouldn't worry too much. Maybe she got over-heated or something. Make sure she doesn't get into anything else funky to eat!♥
