I Would Like To Know If Fleas Can Live On Humans And Make There Skin Itch?
I work with someone who cat had fleas. She treated the dog and cat and the furniture. I feel when i go work there that my skin is being irritated. I was wondering could I be carring them around with me and how do I find out.

Fleas can be carried on your clothing, in your shoe, they don't "live" on people per say, but they do hitch rides. A flea bite will itch for a while too. To check if your home is flea free, put a dish with water and a bit of dish soap in it. Put a lit candle in the middle (fleas are attracted to the light) They will jump to the light and get stuck into the soap/water mix. Do this over night and check in the morning to see if there are fleas in the dish, then you'll know if you still have fleas or not.
