    There are a total of thirty one towns, cities and villages in Wiltshire. It is one of the largest southern English counties. The county is famous for its wide valleys and high down land. The county was earlier called "Wiltonshire"
    The county is quiet famous for its pre-roman archaeology.

    Wiltshire is mainly of rural landscape. Wiltshire's temperature is often more wetter and milder than that of rest of England. January is the coldest month here when the temperature is between 1 to 2 degree centigrade and July to August are one of the warmest months when the temperature touches 21 degrees Celsius. December is the dullest month and June is the warmest and sunniest month. The county has a total population of 613,024 in the annual Census of 2001.
