    Beta blockers are generally medicinal drugs used for a variety of medical problems usually prescribed for management of Cardiac Arrhythmias and for cardio protection. At the same time it is also used as a first-line treatment for Hypertension. They were demoted to fourth-line drugs in UK due to their low ineffectiveness in June 2006.
    There is growing evidence that people using beta blockers on regular doses are prone to getting type 2 diabetes.

    Beta Blockers serve the purpose of blocking endogenous catecholamine, epinephrine and nor epinephrine in particular.
