Why Am I Punished For Something My Ancestors Had Nothing To Do With?

My great grandfathers and great grandmothers are french. Why is it that I can be looked down upon by african americans when my ancestors had nothing to do with any of this nonsense.

    It is the way that much of Africa refuses to accept that it is now responsible for most of its problems.  The old colonial powers are conveniently blamed for everything, even though they pour billions into their former colonies.  It's much easier to claim "victim of colonialism" status.  You're not alone and you are not to blame.
